Judge Jack T.C. Yu is
currently the senior counsel of Wispro Law Offices of International
Commerce, focusing practices in the areas of Intellectual Property
Laws, Civil & Criminal Litigations, Torts and Contracts, and
Securities and Regulations. During his 7 years of law practice
as Judge presiding at several District Courts like Taichung, Kaohsiung,
and Pungtung, he has participated in over 3,000 civil and criminal
cases and even has been selected as a “co-benched” Judge in the
one of the High Courts at Kaohsiung where the High Court is the
second instance court in our judicial system. Such unique practicing
experiences have enabled him to solve client’s problems in complicated
cases, using not only his profound legal knowledge, but also skills
and techniques in court procedures.
Law practitioners are not a group
of people selling legal services for the purpose of profit-making;
rather, they are the professionals that require themselves to
find a way in the best interests for their clients, either to
solve clients’ problems today, or to prevent potential issues
tomorrow. We, professionals, have long understood that legal resort
is one of the ways to solve problems, but never the only way.
It is indeed wiser for an attorney to firstly listen to the facts
from clients, apply the practical experiences to the facts, and
then efficiently find solutions for clients from various angles,
so as to save as much as possible client’s time and costs, while
delivering satisfactions to the clients.
